didacta 2019:The educational update on the future of learning

The German education landscape has many problem areas: Lacking teachers, inclusion, integration, lacking nursery places for children under the age of three, the digitalisation of learning, educational justice etc., etc. The Bildungsmesse didacta 2019 in Cologne provides everyone, who is involved with the education process, with an update about the current themes and challenges of the education sector. At the largest trade fair for the entire educational section worldwide over 800 companies from around 40 countries will be presenting an extensive spectrum of services from 19 to 23 February 2019 - from equipment and furnishing, educational media and didactic materials for all educational and child care sections. With its diversified event and congress programme, didacta underlines its leading role as the "education summit" for the experts and public.

didacta is characterised by its unique, highly informative lecture and event programme that attracts many visitors and which the exhibitors can also be intensively involved in. Across three congress centres it offers a comprehensive programme on further education for the skilled personnel of all areas of education. In numerous lectures, podium events, workshops and seminars, representatives from the business and science sectors, politics and society as well as celebrities will discuss current education issues. The programme of didacta 2019 in Cologne not only targets trade visitors, it also provide numerous interesting offers for the "key people involved in upbringing and education" - the parents.

Once again in 2019, didacta will bring together the most important decision-makers from all fields of education in the metropolis on the Rhine. Next February, exhibitors from all over Europe will present the current products and trends from all areas of education in four exhibition halls - from early childhood learning through to further education for adults. didacta is structured into the four sections early learning, schools/universities, vocational training/qualifications and didacta DIGITAL.

didacta 2019 - die Bildungsmesse in Cologne
Education and learning accompany us our whole lives long. This makes it all the more important to accompany and promote the process of education precisely where it most obviously occurs: in the child care centres, schools and universities as well as in vocational institutions. This is exactly where didacta kicks off - with the sections early learning, schools/universities, vocational training/qualifications and didacta DIGITAL - it already shows you today how learning contents will be conveyed tomorrow and how lessons will be conducted. Recently in Cologne just under 100,000 decision-makers from all educational sections encountered around 800 exhibitors and over 1,500 lectures, workshops and seminars. After all optimal learning has to be learnt and supported.

The Didacta Association e.V., Darmstadt and the Educational Media Association e.V., Frankfurt are the industry sponsors of didacta - die Bildungsmesse.

The trade fair is being staged at the Cologne fair grounds from 19 to 23 February 2019. It opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
