Arriving by car and taxi

Ten highways lead into Cologne’s beltway, which brings you directly to the exhibition center without junctions or traffic lights. Simply follow the green signs marked "Koelnmesse”. There are about 14,500 parking spaces around the exhibition center. Free shuttle buses run from the car parks to the entrances.

Partial closure of the Kalk tunnel (B55a urban motorway)
Please note that the Kalk tunnel must be closed in one direction for a weekend to test the tunnel technology.
It will be blocked heading out of town from 9:00 pm on Friday, 25 October 2019 until 5:00 am on Monday, 28 October 2019.

Parking and Low Emission Zone

There is a total of approx. 14,500 parking places available for our guests. Please follow the green signs to "Koelnmesse". Once in the area surrounding the exhibition center, you will be guided to the appropriate parking spaces by our modern traffic guidance system. Please follow the signs to the parking lots in the exhibition area. The parking spaces are optimally linked to our entrances. You can reach them on foot or, if applicable, using our complimentary shuttle buses.

Most of Cologne’s metrolpolitan area is a low emission zone. Vehicles entering this zone must carry a green sticker (emission group 4).
