Due to Koelnmesse’s central location, which is conveniently situated for many transport links, visitors can quickly reach the exhibition centre from many European cities both within and outside of Germany by car, train, plane and local public transport. Here you will also find information on special traffic measures in the vicinity of the exhibition centre.

Construction measures in front of the Southern Halls

During the construction period at the MesseCity Köln site, a new staircase is connecting Barmer Straße and the Entrance South, one of the access points to our exhibition grounds.

The very good transport links via local and regional public transport will remain in service. The shuttle buses and taxis are also available as usual in direct proximity to the Cologne Trade Fair/Deutz rail station.

By car

The exhibition center and Administrative Building (Messehochhaus) are quickly and directly accessible from the highway. Find out more about our car rental partner Sixt.
