The event
iPad classes are often seen as a symbol of modern school development. However, the sustainable success of digital devices in the classroom depends on far more than simply providing equipment. In addition to infrastructure and funding, clear pedagogical concepts, usage policies, teacher training, and long-term support structures are essential. This contribution highlights the factors that are frequently underestimated or overlooked—and explains why technical solutions alone cannot replace genuine instructional development. Drawing on practical experience, it demonstrates how schools and municipalities can work together to create sustainable conditions for successfully implementing and maintaining iPad classes.
