Looking to make your school trip a little different? Want to spend exciting days with your students, filled with engaging activities? Perhaps combining the trip with a rich and enriching program would be a good idea? Then we have just the thing for you!

The diverse landscape around Nettersheim, fossil-rich sites, and several Roman monuments within walking distance offer a unique opportunity to actively understand and, quite literally, "grasp" nature and history.

The Eifel Nature Center, an experienced and highly skilled extracurricular learning center, offers experiential half-day and full-day programs for all ages and school types, covering topics such as geology, culture and history, nature and the environment, physical activity, creative pursuits, and much more. The focus is on learning through hands-on experience, exploration, and marveling at things we often overlook.

In over 30 years (the Eifel Nature Center opened in 1989), this facility has grown into the largest and most active nature center in the region. Visitors are welcome year-round, seven days a week, to rediscover nature and history.

The Eifel Nature Center is a collaborative network of several institutions in Nettersheim. The diverse programs offered by the Archaeological Landscape Park, the Youth Hostel, the Adult Education Center, the Wood Competence Center, and other affiliated facilities and organizations are developed and coordinated jointly.
