Positioning System PS400 - Remote-Controlled (230 V, 50/60 Hz)

The Remote Controlled Positioning System PS 400 enables fast, programmable and exactly reproducible positioning of components (e.g. sources or sensors) in experiments. Distance-dependent but also velocity-dependent physical quantities can thus be investigated quickly and without disturbing influences of the person performing the experiment.

Examples:
Distance-dependent, physical quantities:
● Electric field – Coulomb’s law
● Magnetic field - Biot-Savart-law
● Light intensity
● Radioactive radiation intensity

Velocity-dependent, physical quantities:
● Frictional force in liquid media
● Doppler effect
Combinations of the step size and velocity are freely programmable and offer a high degree of flexibility with particularly simple operation.
