Digitale Schule FFB e.V.

Digitale Schule FFB e.V. is a non-profit organisation founded on 28 July 2022 by representatives of the district, the municipalities and the State Education Authority of Fürstenfeldbruck. Its mission is to shape the digital transformation of schools in the district in an efficient, sustainable and equitable way.

Today, the association supports around 50 schools, 23,000 students and 2,300 teachers in all matters relating to digital education. It follows a holistic approach that integrates technology and infrastructure, digital skills and organisational processes. Its portfolio of services includes, among other things, centralised device management, on-site support, organisational and technical consulting, procurement, assistance with funding programmes, the organisation of training courses and media literacy events, as well as the development of media strategies and budget planning.

Digitale Schule FFB e.V. relieves the burden on municipal administrations, establishes uniform standards, reduces costs through joint procurement and ensures a consistent digital education standard throughout the district. It provides a professionally managed, jointly financed school IT service package from a single source, from which smaller municipalities in particular benefit.
