SIGN stands for innovative, inclusive communication solutions that open up access to German Sign Language (DGS) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for people of all ages. Since 2017, SIGN has been developing appealing, practical materials such as the SIGNbox, SIGNmap, and the web application SIGNdigital, which inspire and support a wide range of target groups in education, therapy, and family life.

Our products combine DGS signs with METACOM symbols and are characterized by a motivating, playful approach that makes learning signs fun and ensures lasting success. The SIGNbox contains 224 sign cards to expand vocabulary, as well as numerous game ideas for daycare centers, schools, and home learning. SIGNmap and SIGNdabei offer clear overviews for everyday communication. The SIGNmonster card game with imaginative monster cards is a brand new addition to our range and ensures fun and variety when learning sign language. The range will soon be expanded with SIGNkita, which is being developed specifically for everyday use in daycare centers/ kindergarten, and the new SIGN theme box “Death & Mourning,” which will be available soon and provides signs for sensitive communication situations.

With SIGNdigital, we offer a modern web app that combines sign language videos, learning lists, and print templates. Over 1,600 signs are digitally combined with illustrations, sound, and Metacom symbols to help overcome barriers—for true inclusion in education and everyday life. Your own signs can be visually inserted on request.

SIGN stands for passion, expertise, and care—for greater understanding and participation. In addition to our products, we offer a wide range of training programs: in-person and online workshops for educational and therapeutic professionals as well as parents.
