element-i is part of the provider network KONZEPT-E. The network currently operates 46 childcare centers, including numerous company daycare centers, as well as four secondary schools—primary and community schools with an upper secondary level leading to the Abitur. The network also includes the Freie Duale Fachakademie für Pädagogik with three vocational colleges for training educators. The headquarters is in Stuttgart. Around 1,300 employees work across the network, including approximately 1,200 in the childcare centers, schools, and vocational colleges and more than 100 in administration.

About element-i pedagogy
People are individual and social beings who want to be free. At the same time, they strive for belonging, appreciation, and recognition. The element-i philosophy combines both and states: freedom means doing what you want because you have reflected on what this may lead to—and then taking responsibility for the consequences. Even the youngest children are supported in line with this philosophy on their journey to becoming independent individuals who act responsibly toward themselves, others, and the environment.

Every person has their own interests, lives differently, develops individually, and yet in connection with others, and wants to experience and share recognition and appreciation. As part of a community, each person here takes responsibility for themselves and for the consequences of their own actions.
