DIRECTIONS Declaration of Commitment

The DIRECTIONS Declaration of Commitment provides providers of educational information systems with a compact way to communicate their data protection practices transparently. At the same time, the declaration allows providers to prepare for a subsequent certification process.

Four steps to commitment:

1. The provider familiarizes themselves with the DIRECTIONS criteria catalog and the process for the Declaration of Commitment.

2. Based on the criteria catalog, the provider must independently assess its compliance with the criteria and prepare an assessment report on this basis.

3. Once this has been done, the provider sends the completed declaration of commitment and the assessment report to directions@trusted-cloud.de.

4. As soon as the contract has been signed by both parties, the information system will be included in the public register of DIRECTIONS Declaration of Commitments.
