Smartphone-free school – and still strong media education (Live at didacta)

Private smartphones are a perennial issue in many schools: distractions, conflicts, social media pressure—and at the same time, the need to teach media literacy in a serious way. This is exactly where our joint format with eddilake comes in: in 40 minutes, we show how a smartphone-free school can be introduced pragmatically—and how media education can then be successfully implemented using the school's own devices. You will gain insight into a practical concept for rules and implementation – and in the second part, you will see how teachers can integrate current topics such as deepfakes into their lessons without lengthy preparation. Finally, it's time to visit the stations: try things out, ask questions, take them with you straight away. Come by, join in, test it live – right at the exhibition stand.
