RoboCup German Open 2026 – Experience Robotics and AI Live

The RoboCup German Open is bringing the future of robotics and artificial intelligence into the present. 50 teams from universities and technical colleges come together to compete against each other with their autonomous and intelligent robot systems - including reigning world champions. In addition to humanoid robots that play soccer, there are exciting disciplines for service robots such as providing support in the household, industry or with rescue missions. At the same time, the top 200 German junior teams meet to take part in the final tournament. The visitors can experience the live robotics demonstrations first-hand in Hall 9. The 2nd German Robotics Conference will take place concurrently in Hall 6 from Wednesday to Friday.

Since 1996, the RoboCup German Open has been gathering interdisciplinary teams together that herald in the next generation of robotics and AI with relevant future scenarios. The Technology Event , for example, promotes innovation and young talents in the MINT section and impresses with its dynamic, inspiring and creative atmosphere.
