‘Brot für die Welt’ is part of a global movement that campaigns for worldwide change: for a fairer world in which everyone lives with dignity, has equal rights, and in which resources are distributed fairly and the planet's boundaries are respected – today and in the future.
 
Our Christian identity shapes our commitment and gives us hope that we can make a difference. Together with our partner organisations, we enable disadvantaged people in over 80 countries to improve their living situation sustainably. We advocate for human rights, peace, a strong democracy, and access to education, healthcare, and water. We fight hunger, poverty and the consequences of climate change. With our educational materials, we provide inspiration on how to integrate global and complex topics into lessons in an engaging way. Pupils can be inspired by our partners in the Global South and learn about innovative ideas and solutions to global challenges such as climate change, migration, peace and human rights.
