Deutsche Bundesbank

At didacta, the Bundesbank presents its offering on economic education. At its booth A 54 in Hall 7.1, it provides information about its offerings on the topics of money and monetary policy for school lessons. The Deutsche Bundesbank is the central bank of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its central field of activity is the monetary policy of the Eurosystem. Other tasks include the financial and currency system, banking supervision, cashless payment transactions, and cash management. In addition, the Bundesbank provides a wide range of educational resources to impart basic knowledge in the areas of money, currency, and the functions of a central bank as part of general economic education. This is intended, above all, to help young people understand the central importance of stable money and the Bundesbank's focus on stability for sustainable economic development. 
The Deutsche Bundesbank offers free teaching materials for different school levels:
- Upper secondary level (grades 11-12):
The student book "Money and Monetary Policy" provides detailed information on the topics mentioned in the title. Coordinated teaching templates can be used directly in lessons.
- Lower secondary level (grades 5-10):
The student book "Understanding Money" answers everyday questions about money and is designed specifically for classroom use. An accompanying workbook and teacher's guide are available. "Understanding Money" is also available as a digital textbook for media-based, interactive teaching. In addition, the media package "Dealing with Money" explains the topic using a film and corresponding teaching materials.
- Primary level:
