The Power of We | Transforming Our Schools | Presented by the Helga Breuninger Foundation
The Power of We is a network of committed individuals who, in some cases, have been supporting and accompanying one another for decades. They work toward a fundamental shift in mindset in schools and society through initiatives, teaching roles, organizations, and publications. Entrepreneurs, trainers, and authors alike are united by the conviction that the challenges of our time can only be met together: with trust, love, gratitude, and reverence for all living beings. The education of children and young people plays a central role in this endeavor. Children are creative, eager to learn, and truth-loving when they are given space, strong relationships, and trust. They want to learn with joy, both individually and in community. Teachers, too, need supportive relationships and greater freedom in order to remain healthy. The Power of We sees itself as an impulse giver for a healthy school system of the future.
Margret Rasfeld, former school principal, author, co-founder of Schule im Aufbruch, and initiator of FREI DAY, has laid essential foundations for a new educational practice.
Helga Breuninger develops Intushochdrei, a learning platform focused on relationship-based learning and mindset change.
Prof. Michael Schratz, long-time chair of the jury of the German School Award, represents a learner-centered approach that becomes tangible through the Intushochdrei AI bot “Digital Makerspace.”
Tina Schütze brings mindfulness, meditation, and movement into everyday school life through MeTAzeit.
Silke Weiss represents Lernkulturzeit, offering education and training programs for school support and coaching.
Together with Ute Puder and Manuel Christ, Margret Rasfeld leads the RealLabor Peaceful Education Revolution in Leipzig— a place of educational transformation inspired by Heart-Centered Pedagogy: trust instead of fear, a sense of we instead of ego-driven striving, and time instead of haste. The arts are an integral part of all processes from the very beginning.
