Would you like to buy a ticket for yourself or redeem a ticket code?

Click below on “ Buy ticket ” or “ Redeem ticket code ” and follow the instructions.

To redeem a code, a personal Koelnmesse account is required. Alternatively, you can purchase a ticket as a guest. We recommend registering for a Koelnmesse account so that we can provide you with the best possible digital trade fair experience and you can later make full use of all the functions of the trade fair app.

Would you like to buy tickets for other people?

Select “ Buy ticket ” and choose to order as a guest. During the purchasing process, you will be asked to provide details of the ticket holders. Please enter the first and last names of the persons for whom each ticket is intended. It is important to provide the correct information so that the public transport ticket are issued in the correct name.

How to receive your ticket:

Automatic ticket in the app:

In the trade fair app, you can conveniently access your ticket and public transport pass in the ticket wallet. Simply log in to the app using the Koelnmesse account you used to purchase your ticket. Unfortunately, if you made a guest purchase, the ticket wallet is not available.

The app also enables you to plan your visit efficiently. It includes the hall plan and navigation, exhibitor and product lists, and the event programme, and allows you to network with other trade fair participants. Please note that networking functions are not available for guest purchases.

You will also receive your ticket as a PDF file in the order confirmation. Using a link in the email, you can also add the ticket to the wallet on your mobile device.

A separate email will provide your public transport ticket. Both the ticket and the transport pass can also be accessed at any time under “My Orders” in the ticket shop. Please note that the “My Orders” section is not available for guest purchases.

If you prefer not to use the advantages of a Koelnmesse account and the app, you can alternatively purchase a ticket on-site or redeem a ticket code.

Trade visitor

The didacta is a trade fair. Anyone who has a teaching or learning assignment or works in an educational organisation is admitted.

Children and youths

Children up to the age of 6 are admitted free of charge when accompanied by their parents. Children from 7 to 16 years are only admitted when accompanied by an adult and pay the reduced price for an admission ticket. Families with up to 2 adults and 3 children can get reduced admission with the family day ticket, which is only available on site.

Accompanying pets

It is prohibited to bring dogs and other pets to our fair grounds.

Travel ticket

You will receive your free travel ticket in a separate e-mail. For use of the public transport system please print out the PDF file in size A4 or download the PDF file to your mobile device.

The free travel ticket (2nd class) is valid for public transport in the network of the Rhein Sieg Transportoperated by the Rhein Sieg Transport Authority (VRS) .

Exempted are trains of the Deutsche Bahn AG subject to a surcharge, e.g. the IC/EC or ICE.

The public transport ticket only provides authorization for arrival and departure in the context of a visit to Koelnmesse GmbH within the indicated period of the trade fair. It is non-transferable and only valid in connection with a valid photo identification and an admission ticket of Koelnmesse GmbH.
